SASSA Event Indoor Cooling
Chill Out supplied and installed a large-scale indoor cooling solution at Mbekweni Community Sport Centre in Paarl for a Ministerial Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme held on Friday, 13 February 2026.
The government outreach event, led by the Minister of Social Development, Ms Nokuzola Sisisi Tolashe, facilitated the on-site approval of Foster Care Grants, Child Support Grants, and Disability Grants. The programme drew significant public attendance, bringing immediate administrative support to vulnerable households in the region.
The event took place inside the fully enclosed community sports centre. The venue is comparable in size to an indoor soccer field, estimated at approximately 800–1,000m². With Paarl’s high temperatures and a large number of attendees expected, effective airflow management was essential to maintain comfort throughout the day.

Our team delivered and installed all equipment at 08:00 on the morning of 13 February 2026. We positioned the units evenly across the venue floor to promote balanced airflow and prevent heat buildup. Due to limited fixed power points inside the facility, we deployed extension infrastructure to ensure stable and distributed electrical access for all units.
The entire operation was completed within a single day. Our team returned at approximately 17:00 for full breakdown and collection following the conclusion of the outreach programme.
