Chill Out has proudly supported the Cape Town Cruise Terminal at the V&A Waterfront for three consecutive years — providing professional temporary cooling solutions during the busy cruise seasons of 2022, 2023, and now again in 2025.
For this year’s operation, we were once again tasked with delivering a tailored cooling solution for the passenger check-in area. This area is similar to an airport ticketing and baggage drop-off zone. Consequently, with thousands of cruise travelers passing through daily, maintaining a cool and comfortable environment was critical to ensuring a smooth and professional welcome experience.
Specifically, our March 2025 deployment included:
✅ 8 high-performance Mobile Air Coolers.
✅ Full delivery and setup.
✅ Bi-weekly on-site checkups to monitor performance.
✅ Collection handled by the Chill Out team.
The air coolers were strategically placed throughout the check-in zone to regulate indoor temperatures, reduce heat buildup from large crowds. They also maintained constant airflow in a mostly enclosed structure with high glass frontage. As cruise activity peaked, the system operated without interruption — providing effective relief from Cape Town’s summer heat.
Overall, our long-standing relationship with the Cruise Terminal team reflects the consistent quality and professionalism Chill Out brings to large-scale mobile air cooling operations. Each year, we’ve refined our approach to meet their growing needs. This ensures greater efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum comfort.
The Cape Town Cruise Terminal cooling setup is another example of Chill Out‘s ability to support both public-facing and logistics-heavy venues with reliable mobile air cooling solutions — backed by dedicated service and technical support.
