Event Cooling Cape Town
From the 8th to 9th October, Chill Out | Air Cooler Rentals supplied a temporary cooling solution for IDIDTHAT HOUSE. A creative industry gathering hosted at The Electric in District Six, Cape Town’s CBD.
The two-day event brought together people from the creative and production industries for networking, talks, panel discussions and social gatherings. The programme also included an afternoon takeover celebrating women and non-binary people in the creative and production sectors.
Indoor Cooling on the Second Floor
Chill Out was subcontracted by CCPP Group, an audio, visual and lighting company involved in the event. This installation marked our first collaboration with the team.
To support the event setup, Chill Out supplied two Medium-size Evaporative Air Coolers, positioned in the second-floor loft area at The Electric. The units were provided for the duration of the two-day programme, with delivery completed on Wednesday, 7 October, ahead of the event and collection taking place on Saturday morning, 10 October.

Supporting Event Production in Cape Town
Working alongside production companies allows Chill Out to provide temporary cooling solutions as part of a broader event setup. We understand that equipment delivery and collection need to fit around production schedules, venue access and the timing of the event itself.
We thank CCPP Group for bringing Chill Out on board for this event and look forward to future opportunities to support their productions.
