Luxury Villa Conference Cooling
Chill Out provided a flexible indoor cooling solution for a corporate conference held at a luxury villa in Higgovale, Cape Town.
The event took place from 26–28 January 2026 and formed part of an investors conference for Ninety One, facilitated by event design company Theme Creations. The conference took place inside the villa’s dining area, which the organisers converted into a temporary conference space for the event.
Due to the nature of the conference setup and the use of highly sensitive microphones, the evaporative air coolers were used strategically. As a result, cooling was applied before sessions began and during scheduled breaks. This kept the space comfortable without interfering with audio during live discussions.
Based on the indoor layout and airflow requirements, Chill Out supplied two medium-size Evaporative Air Coolers. These units delivered targeted cooling and reduced heat buildup inside the enclosed space.

Additional Same-Day Support
On Tuesday, 27 January, Theme Creations requested an additional air cooler for a secondary location. In response, Chill Out delivered a third unit on short notice to the Mount Nelson Hotel. Conference attendees hosted an informal evening gathering with drinks and dining at the venue. The rapid turnaround ensured consistent comfort across both venues on the same day.
This project highlighted the importance of adaptable cooling solutions for high-level corporate events, particularly where sound sensitivity and venue constraints require careful management.
