Art Fair Marquee Cooling
Chill Out supplied and installed a marquee cooling solution at the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), from 20 to 22 February 2026.
The rental was contracted by Gavin Rajah for a VIP marquee positioned in the Outside Courtyard area of the fair. The Outside Courtyard serves as an open-air extension of the main exhibition area. This space offered guests a place to relax away from the high-traffic indoor fairground.
The 13th edition of Investec Cape Town Art Fair marked its most ambitious programme to date, hosting over 120 international exhibitors and welcoming tens of thousands of visitors across the three-day period. With extremely high summer temperatures recorded across Cape Town, particularly in the CBD, heat levels inside the enclosed marquee escalated quickly.
The request for cooling was urgent, requiring same-day delivery and rapid deployment on Friday, 20 February 2026.

The equipment remained operational throughout the weekend and was collected following the fair’s conclusion on Sunday, 22 February 2026.
