Indoor Showroom Cooling
Chill Out | Air Cooler Rentals supplied an Indoor Cooling Solution to INOVA Concept Store in District 6, Cape Town, during the prestigious Cape Town Furniture Week.
INOVA Concept Store, located on Harrington Street, is a premium retail destination known for showcasing contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories from leading international and local brands. As an exhibitor during Cape Town Furniture Week, a four-day design festival celebrating contemporary South African design, the showroom anticipated increased foot traffic, exhibitions and extended browsing periods throughout the event.
The Cooling Challenge
The INOVA showroom operates within a heritage building. Preservation regulations prohibit the installation of permanent air conditioning systems. While the space offers architectural character and charm, it can become warm and stuffy when large crowds gather, particularly during peak summer temperatures in February.
With Furniture Week expected to draw designers, industry professionals and members of the public, maintaining a comfortable indoor climate was essential for both guests and staff.
The Cooling Solution
✅ 2 Medium-size Evaporative Air Coolers.
✅ Indoor showroom cooling solution.
✅ Strategic placement for optimised airflow.
✅ Pre-event delivery with post-event collection.
Our team strategically positioned the units within the indoor showroom to maximise airflow and maintain consistent cooling throughout the space without disrupting the aesthetic of the exhibition displays.
Evaporative Air Coolers are ideal for heritage sites and temporary events. Additionally, they require no permanent installation or structural modifications and offer an energy-efficient alternative to traditional air conditioning systems.
Our team delivered all units on 18 February 2026 ahead of the exhibition opening and collected promptly on 20 February once the rental period concluded. Our seamless installation, ensuring INOVA could focus fully on hosting visitors and showcasing their curated collections.
This project demonstrates how portable climate control solutions can effectively support retail environments, exhibitions and heritage venues during high-traffic events.
If you’re planning an event in a heritage building or need temporary cooling for an indoor exhibition space, our team is ready to assist.
Whether for design festivals, showroom launches or corporate gatherings, Chill Out | Air Cooler Rentals provides reliable Evaporative Air Cooler Hire in Cape Town & The Western Cape, tailored to each venue’s unique requirements.
