Chill Out supplied an Emergency Indoor Cooling solution at the Shell Service Station in Brackenfell, supporting the Shell Select retail store during a temporary air-conditioning failure over the peak festive period.
Cooling was required inside the indoor retail area, which measures approximately 50m². With high foot traffic expected during the December holidays, maintaining a comfortable shopping environment for customers and staff was essential.
The booking was handled as an urgent request after the air-conditioning system broke down shortly before the festive rush. As a temporary solution, Evaporative Air Coolers were installed to stabilise indoor temperatures while permanent repairs were scheduled within the initial seven-day rental period.
All equipment was delivered and set up on 24 December 2025. This ensured the store remained operational during one of the busiest trading weeks of the year. Collection was initially scheduled for 31 December 2025 following completion of the seven-day rental period, however the rental was extended for an additional two weeks to support ongoing cooling requirements.
