Viva Formwork Outdoor Cooling
Chill Out provided an outdoor cooling setup for Viva Formwork’s year-end staff function. The event was hosted at their head office in Airport Industria, Cape Town. The function took place on 5 December 2025 beneath a marquee-style structure with an overhead roof and fully open sides. With warm summer temperatures expected and staff gathered outdoors for several hours, steady airflow was essential to keep the celebration cool and comfortable.
Delivery was scheduled on the morning of 5 December with the setup completed ahead of the event starting time. We collected the units the following day, ensuring the client had uninterrupted cooling throughout the full duration of their staff function. Because the venue layout featured an open-sided marquee, we planned the airflow direction and placement to not just be efficient but also to maximise coverage across the full gathering area.
Furthermore, we installed a total of 4 Large-Size Evaporative Air Coolers with extension cabling under the marquee roof. Their high-volume output provided the cooling needed for an outdoor environment, allowing staff to enjoy the event without the heat becoming a distraction.
